Relize that I do very very rare to read a book or anykind of it, not because I hate books, I love it. I allways bought anykind of interesting books to me, just.. never read it till finish, infact some of it still in nice plastic wrap. I bought because i want to have it, not sure if i really want to read it. Maybe this is because of my laziness, or... it could be only my natural habit that not like read alot, coz im not use to it from a child, I prefer learn something from listen & watch.
I know it is important thing to read, indeed. And I need to read to open my mind, explore something new, and giving reference to write (coz i love write anything) so i could have some of wide & deep opinion about something I interest on.
I think 'read atleast one book per month' should be one of my new year resolution issue for this year (2006). Yes, at the end of year I allways made some resolution list as my plan for next year. Its make me have some target to catch on trough a whole year. But 6 months passed by and I just read 2 books, one of Sophie Kinsella's novel, the Undomestic Goddess, and one from AlisaKwitney 'On the Couch', whereas I have more than 20 fiction books like novels, chicklits, etc. and lot of other literacy at home that i haven't read at all. Ce domage... bien domage....
To pursue my achivement lack on book for this year (at least 10 more books to read), I decide to start from over again, only this time with more intetion & discipline, thats for sure. I made a program called 'one week one book program' starting this Jully and the objective is to read at least one book, for anykind of book, in a week. And I'll do the same thing with movie, coz movie could refreshing our mind also and give different perception about anything in life and that could become an inspiration on writing too. To make sure that I'll be done it well, I've made a chart to determine how many book I have read, what kind of book, who's the author and make the summary too, and I'll do the same with movie that I've watch through a week. So hopefully I can practice to develope recency of films and books.
We'll see.........
